We love this new free app, Mole Mapper! Designed to help people at risk for developing melanoma, the app lets you track and measure moles over time.
App creator, Dan E. Webster, recently completed his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at Stanford University where his focus was on melanoma drug resistance to Vemurafenib. The impetus to develop the app was personal.
“My wife has a family history of melanoma, so we have always been vigilant about her moles changing or new moles appearing. This app has made this job easier for us, so we figured why not give it away to everyone who might find it useful?” Webster explained.
